Our award-winning Beta Club (grades 4-12) was established in 2018. Our homeschoolers have won several awards including:

  • School of distinction (2018-2019, 2019-2020)

  • School of merit (2019-2020, 2020-2021)

  • All star award (2023)

The National Beta Club is the largest educational youth organization in the U.S. The goal is to promote academic achievement, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. Our Beta Club members have volunteered their time for a number of causes and locations across central Florida and have regularly given back to their homeschool community. In addition to volunteering, our Beta Club meets each quarter for some fun!

Homeschool students interested in "leading through service" must be a member of Sunshine State Homeschoolers, be in good standing and have outstanding academic achievement in their homeschool and should be willing to try and earn 50 volunteer hours through the academic year. Members receive a membership certificate, card, and pin. Our Beta Club will have a homeschool style induction event. To help keep our Beta Club student focused, parents post at least one in person volunteer event for each homeschool student they have in our Beta Club during the academic year. The majority, if not all, in person volunteer opportunities will be in the central Florida area.

Annual membership fees for new members are:

  • Grades 4-5: $25

  • Grades 6-8: $35

  • Grades 9-12: $40

  • Returning member fees are $10

We accept new applications for our Beta Club each fall!

We have partnered with the largest recreational math club in the nation for students in grades 3-5! This is not your usual math club! Kids of all math abilities will meet each week to make mischief and memories with activities like Neon Geometry, Bouncy Dice Explosion, Toilet Paper Olympics, Spy Training and more. You’ll get to take home some cool prizes, too! Our math club is only $80 for eight sessions.
