Our award-winning Beta Club (grades 6-12) was established in 2018. Our homeschoolers have won several awards including:

• School of distinction (2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2023-2024, 2024-2025) 

• School of merit (2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025) 

• All star award (2022-2023, 2023-2024)

The National Beta Club is the largest educational youth organization in the U.S. The goal is to promote academic achievement, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. Our Beta Club members have volunteered their time for a number of causes and locations across central Florida and have regularly given back to their homeschool community. In addition to volunteering, our Beta Club meets each quarter for some fun!

Homeschool students interested in "leading through service" must be a member of Sunshine State Homeschoolers, be in good standing and have outstanding academic achievement in their homeschool and should be willing to try and earn 50 volunteer hours through the academic year. Members receive a membership certificate, card, and pin. To help keep our Beta Club student focused, families are grouped into small teams based on region to work together. ​​​
