More Than an Event

​

Sunshine teen dances began in 2015 with a simple goal: to create a place where homeschool teens could come together, build friendships, feel connected, and make lasting memories. What started as something meaningful for my own children grew into something much larger for the homeschool community.

More than a decade later, Sunshine dances regularly welcome around 150 teens, frequently sell out, and have even been featured in the news. Families return year after year, siblings grow up waiting for their turn to attend, and many teens come back dance after dance.

​

Over the years, plenty of similar events have come and gone. Sunshine is still here.

​

Because for us, this has never just been about hosting an event. It has always been about the kids, the community, and creating something worth coming back to.
